Thursday, November 5 – The Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, has announced a full lockdown throughout Greece for a period of three weeks starting this Saturday, November 7, at 06:00 until November 30.
The restrictions will be mostly the same as the March lockdown, including confirming the reason for trips outside the home, via SMS or completed form, with the exceptions that junior schools and kindergartens will remain open and the wearing of a mask outside the home will be mandatory. However, senior schools will remain closed and will function via distance learning. All retail stores will close (except for essential services) and travel between regions will be banned.
